Minis vs. Minis 2.0: What’s the Difference?
Cute nails don’t always have to come with a big price tag!
If you love keeping your nails done but want something simple, affordable, and easy to maintain, let me introduce you to two of my budget-friendly services: Minis and Minis 2.0.
Both services are designed for my babes who love a clean, polished look without spending extra time or money on long nails and detailed designs.
So, what’s the difference?
The Minis — $40
Simple, short, and straight to the point.
The Minis are a short-short acrylic full set with no added designs. They’re perfect for my clean-girl aesthetic lovers, busy moms, nurses, military personnel, or anyone who wants cute nails without breaking the bank.
Think of these as your everyday nails. Nothing extra, just a fresh, well-maintained look.
What you get:
- Short-short acrylic full set
- Square shape only
- No nail art or designs
- A simple, clean finish
- Starting price of $40
Here’s what you need to know: Minis are only available as a new full set. You cannot book the Minis special as a refill.
However, when it’s time for maintenance, you can book a regular acrylic fill instead of getting another full set!
This makes Minis a great way to save money upfront while still keeping up with your nail appointments.
The Minis 2.0 — $45
A little extra, without doing too much.
Love a classic French tip but don’t want to sit through a full nail art appointment? The Minis 2.0 might be your new favorite.
This service gives you the same short-short acrylic length as the original Minis, but with a little upgrade.
Instead of painting on a French tip, I use a white tip with sheer nude acrylic over the top. This creates that soft, natural-looking French finish without needing extra polish or painted designs.
What you get:
- Short-short acrylic full set
- Square shape
- White tips
- Sheer nude acrylic overlay
- A soft French-tip look
- Starting price of $45
The best part?
Maintenance is quick and simple! Because the look is created with the nail products instead of painted polish, there’s no need to repaint the French tips during a regular fill.
You still get a little something extra while keeping your maintenance routine simple.
Just like the original Minis, the Minis 2.0 special is for new full sets only. Future maintenance should be booked as a regular acrylic fill.
Which One Should You Book?
Choose the Minis if:
- You love simple, clean nails.
- You’re on a budget.
- You prefer shorter nails for work or everyday activities.
- You want an affordable starting point for regular nail maintenance.
Choose the Minis 2.0 if:
- You love the classic French-tip look.
- You want a little detail without full nail art.
- You prefer a soft, natural-looking finish.
- You want quick, low-maintenance fills.
Cute Nails, Smart Spending
I know getting your nails done regularly can add up. That’s why I wanted to offer something for my babes who still want to treat themselves without committing to a more expensive full set.
Both options give you a fresh acrylic set at a lower starting price, with the option to maintain your nails through regular fill appointments.
Whether you’re a Minis girl or a Minis 2.0 girl, the goal is the same: cute, well-maintained nails that work for your lifestyle and your budget.
